For over 117 years the Conservatory has been a major performing arts resource for the Greater Hartford area, offering the hobbyist and the aspiring professional the opportunity to indulge in the joy of the performing arts. Our mission is to help people of all ages pursue their dreams in the performing arts.
Perhaps you are a parent looking for an artistic outlet for your child, a teen or college student dreaming of a future as a performer, or an adult who always wanted to learn to play an instrument or study voice. You can try something you've always wanted to do in the comfortable, non-threatening, student-centered, environment of our historic Asylum Hill campus and Park Street studio.
